FAQ FOR MACK WARRANTIES FROM TAPEWORKS TEXAS:

Q: Can I buy my TV from anywhere, and then get a Mack Warranty from TapeWorks Texas?
A: Yes, as long as your unit has a manufacturer's warranty to begin with, and you have a receipt with the model number, pricing, date, etc.

Q. What if I bought my TV from an individual or off of ebay?
A. I'm sorry, unless you purchased the unit from an authorized dealer, you do not hold a manufacturer warranty for the product.  The manufacturer will on warranty the product to the original purchase. ONLY Exception - if the ebay store is an authorized dealer, but be sure to check with the manufacturer!

Q: How long after I purchase my TV can I get a Mack Warranty?
A: You have until your TV has 90 days remaining on the manufacturer's warranty to purchase your Mack Warranty from TapeWorks Texas.

Q: When does the TV Warranty Begin?
A: It will begin AFTER the manufacturer's warranty for your unit.

Q: What information do I need to give TapeWorks Texas when I purchase a warranty?
A: Only your name, address, phone, email, and payment information will be required at that time. The other details - TV model, serial number, etc - will be given to Mack after you receive your warranty cards in the mail via USPS First Class Mail.

Q: Is MACK a reliable company?
A: Mack has been in business for over 70 years, and I feel that says a lot about how they treat their customers, because you don't stay in business that long if you are abusing your customers. TapeWorks Texas has been relying on Mack for warranty services for years, and they are a great group of people.

Q: Is there a Mack Warranty available for MORE than 3 years for my TV?
A: Mack has recently added warranties of 5 years for TV warranties. For more information, please email Brad Parler at TapeWorksBrad@sbcglobal.net

Q: What is covered or not covered with a Mack Warranty for my TV?
A: Mack covers all Manufacturer's Defects. Accidental damage from abuse is not covered. If something fails on the TV, Mack will restore it to Manufacturer's specifications.

Q: Who will work on my TV if there is a problem?
A: What you should keep in mind about this warranty is that your TV will be worked on by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE as if you had no warranty at all and decided to call an authorized service center near to you to get your TV repaired on your own. The only difference is that Mack will be paying the bill instead of you, if you have the warranty. It will be worked on by the EXACT SAME PEOPLE that would perform service on the TV during the original manufacturer's warranty period as well. Mack uses the nearest authorized service center to you for the product you own to service your TV.

Q: When choosing the price category for my TV, should I include the tax, shipping, and other charges?
A: No, only the TV INVOICE PRICE (before tax and shipping) should be used in calculating which warranty price category you will need.

Q: I still have questions after reading the FAQ!
A: Contact Brad Parler via email at TapeWorksBrad@sbcglobal.net and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
