The new HC Series addresses the latest power requirements for a variety of high current applications in a lightweight package. Working very closely with our cell anufacturers, the new HC Series also incorporates new construction and additional features to ensure cell protection and performance integrity.
The NEW DIONIC® HCX with motion detector is the newest addition to our high current product line. With a 120 watt-hr capacity and the ability to sustain a 10Amp draw, the DIONIC HCX will run a 40 watt camera with a 20 watt light for 2 hours. The new motion detection feature incorporates a “deep sleep” setting that reduces battery self-Discharge, allowing for extended periods of storage with minimal capacity loss. The battery may be “awakened” by the built in motion sensor.
To provide precise run-time data, an enhanced LCD RealTime® fuel gauge has been incorporated to display up to nine hours of runtime (under low power load conditions) using a 7-segement display enclosed by four circular arcs that indicate 15-minute time intervals.

InterActive Viewfinder - Newer model video cameras include an InterActive Viewfinder feature developed in conjunction with Anton/Bauer. This feature allows the user to see fuel gauge data displayed on the camera's viewfinder or LCD without having to take their eyes away from a shot. The fuel gauge data is communicated to the camera via a proprietary camera/battery communications protocol facilitated by the Gold Mount connector system. By simply snapping any Digital Logic Series Battery onto a camera's Gold Mount, the camera automatically communicates with the battery to obtain real-time battery information to display in its viewfinder or LCD.
